Didn't realise what good deal Early bird was. I hope Rross doesn't read this post but perhaps some evaluation of the numbers of tickets sold to each category of st holder might bring to light some worthwhile stats. It seems to me that the supporters who pay full price are the demographic that the club wants to encourage. It doesn't matter if they buy super early bird or early bird they are defined by their age. They are more likely to be parents and have friends who are working with them etc. Pensioners will start declining in numbers and if the club doesn't do something to bring in younger supporters then our support will literally die out. I think it likely that pensioners are not going to return to watching live football, so what's the point in subsidising a dying section of the club? I'm not saying the club shouldn't have pensioner concessions but it might be that the subsidy they enjoy could be changed to support a potential growth area for numbers.
