Hamas know what will be coming back at them BT, what they are doing in effect is attacking Israel and then using their own children as human shields. It beggars belief, what sort of people are they that will do that ? And what sort of delusion causes lefties to act as their shills for these subhuman tactics.

I think it has something to do with this "Muslim Martyrdom" malarkey sinkov. Quite a few of them got sent to look for their share of virgins in Christchurch last night.
Good luck with that one, I spent about 6 years from 1968-74 looking for just one virgin in Burnley and had no luck whatsoever!

Here is a report from the day before the alleged rocket attack.

    https://www.aljazeera.com/news/middl...173734408.html

The current situation is ongoing and seemingly unending with bad stuff happening on both sides.
Perhaps the incidents on Tuesday sparked the attack on Wednesday? And so on and so on.

I feel sorry for you and the Israeli people to have to live in this situation Balam - and I feel sorry for the Palestinians having to live in their situation. The politicians have made a right royal mess of your area - even worse than our politicians on Brexit.

Meanwhile the Israelis continue to colonise Palestine, steal their land, deny them just about every essential utility and continue to blame Jeremy Corbyn, Hamas and Hezbollah while the UN and the rest of the world just stand by and watch a nation diminish.

I agree with you BT. The Palestinians are certainly Billy no mates and so theirs is a David versus Goliath struggle.

Vince Cable has announced that he is stepping down as Lib Dem leader in May and one of the front runners is Layla Moran - of Palestinian descent.

I will be supporting her if she does throw her hat in the ring and it can only help the Palestinian cause if she becomes leader.

How will she help the Palestinian cause 59 ? Will she encourage more indiscriminate rocket attacks on Israel, intended purely to provoke the Israelis to rain down yet more death and destruction on innocent Palestinian children ? Or will she be encouraging them to cease their provocation of Israel and demand the US, the UK, France, Russia and the UN start seriously banging heads together and get some form of negotiations under way.

I would hope it's the latter, because that is the only way this will ever be resolved.

It will certainly be the latter Sinkov.

She has actually been very vocal about antisemitism and wants an end to the Israel/Palestine conflict.

But she wants the situation of the Palestinians highlighted more than it is and for there to be a peaceful resolution.

Alf, to say that no one is looking after the Israelis is nonsense. Remember, they are a nuclear power and have one of the most powerful armed forces on the planet. They get unconditional support from the USA and others.

The Palestinians are constantly having their land nicked and can only offer token resistance. Like I said, David versus Goliath.

Not sure how me you would react sinkov, I think pretty much the same way the Palestinian Freedom Fighters do? If it's all lovely and rosy like Balan suggests it is I wonder what on earth this is all about...
