I personally wouldn't describe admin followed by years in the fizzy pop followed by a 2nd administration as remarkable. If that's no longer the case, can't see why they wouldn't revert to a simpler structure, perhaps like Motherwell Community Trust. When you see the calibre of people involved and their level of activities, it's night and day. Fps may not want to know but it shouldn't stop dfcss from reforming into something non-toxic
See every time tainted posts something like this it reminds me how annoying dfcss were in their pomp.

If it's not a full audit It should be able to be done much cheaper perhaps even free.
DFCSS changed their own rules to go from full audit to review when the DFCTV cash cow was sent to the abattoir. Not a single phukk was given by anyone in officialdom.

Your golf club is not as generous as some regarding cheaper golf for younger adults.
Some golf clubs give reduced price memberships for young adults up to and including the age of 29 with full price being charged for adults aged 30 and over.
Reduced price golf is sometimes given to older members attaining a certain age providing they have been a full member for a number of years which might be 20 years. It is a well known fact that when people get older they are not so able to do things as they did when they were younger.
If I was to rejoin Downfield GC I would join as a five day member as being retired I have no interest in taking four hours plus to play 18 holes of golf on a Saturday or Sunday.

Taintedice. I have never seen the DFCSS annual accounts for the year ending 31st May 2018 posted on the society website. I suggest that you pay particular attention to the accounts ending 31st May 2017 where you will see that the society made a loss of £5,545 thanks to FPS asking the society to pay for the cost of the ‘Oor Bobby’ statue with from memory FPS contributing nothing.
There are accountancy fees of £1,500. http://www.dee4life.com/files/151819...ts20162017.pdf

3 hours 40 max at my course. Gotta get home for soccer Saturday.

Lets be honest here Islay, if Tesco were offering free milk you wud be in danger of getting run over by the sticks (that never touch the ground) pensioner or the mobility scooter hooligans. Pensioners are more than capable.

My golf club has the pricing bang on Imho, an increasing membership at a workable rate and a decent course withoot the snobbery and 12 months full green play...you'd like it, far better than black ball downfield.

In fact we have over 30 members of downfield who have winter memberships as downfield is generally unplayable or half a course between Nov and Feb.

I think that you confusing Downfield GC with Panmure Barry. Downfield GC is an artisan golf club and it has always been an artisan golf club despite what you may think. Where are you playing your golf. Carnoustie Burnside, Buddon or Monifieth Ashludie.
Prior to moving to Islay in 2005 I had given up playing golf at Downfield on a Saturday or Sunday as it was taking over four hours to complete 18 holes of golf. The main problem was that the members who were ‘slowcoaches’ did not think that they were slow and the women members were slow thanks to the high number of shots they had in a round of golf.
