You don't half come out with some rubbish Doolali.Tells us whats all this money they've taken out. What about all the transfers they sanctioned, what about the day to day running of the club, what about the wages they pay out.A football club doesn't run on fresh air.

It worrin the club accounts published a few weeks back. Of the £14 million running costs in that year £8 million came from TV income and transfer surpluses, £4 million from ST and matchday ticket income, and £2 million from merchandising and sponsorship..

As a model of future policy then maybe OGC Nice provides a pointer. Fans there are in meltdown and the previous long standing 20% part owner (similar to Cryne position) and the CEO ev resigned this season over Dog keeping £30 million in transfer surpluses and drawing it from the club to pay off part of the loan he took to buy the club. No incoming major transfers ev been sanctioned, particularly strikers desperately sought by Vierra. Nice are now the second lowest scorers in the league. (And Goat ez stepped into the vacant CEO's shoes)

Your obsession with Nice is strange to say the least.I can't wait for your comments in May if Barnsley get promotion and Nice qualify for Europe. It'll be a reight laugh on here.

The audited Club Accounts registered at Companies House are not my facts Bill, they are open for anyone to read.

I also refer you to Post 51 above regarding "pumping £20 million into the club".

Who put money in when John Dennis ran the club.? From the man himself he told me many years ago a good club doesn't need investment if its run right.Football as moved on quite a lot since then and without investment from P.C and now the new owners we'd be in queer street to coin a phrase. As for obsession not me I'm afraid intrigue yes obsession no way.

Genuine question SB, how do you know Lee has drawn £30m from the Nice club account to pay off his loans. Has it been shown in their accounts or something ?

It worrin the main French Sports Press paper "L Equipe " and subsequent discussion on message board and "Nice Matin" (local paper) about the resignations.

I’ve read a lot of these and seen the reasons given that Jean-Pierre Rivere and the other guy left because they were identifying transfer targets but the new board wouldn’t sanction them. Can’t find anything about them taking money out and paying off loans. Not saying they haven’t but was interested to read them. I’ll have another look.
