I was talking to someone in the NHS regarding medicines and their biggest concern is a shortage of HRT tablets. One thing is for sure.

There are going to be a lot of angry women aound.
4 households are not an indicative barometer of 25m households in the UK.

The £1500 figure was given in a research document by an independent think tank called Resolution Foundation. You can find out more about them in this link here, where they are also transparent about their funding.

But you stated 'each' which to me implies each and every.

I would accuse you of being deliberately disingenuous but I forgot

Just looked up this 'Independent Think Tank' Here is their Chairman.

Torsten joined the Foundation in September 2015 as Director. Prior to this, he was Director of Policy for the LABOUR PARTY and worked in the Treasury, as a member of the Council of Economic Advisers during the financial crisis and as a civil servant.

    So no bias there then!

Hang you head in shame 123.

Scroll further down that page you looked at and you'll find David Willetts as Executive Chair. Cabinet Minister for the Tories from 2010-2014.

You'll probably find that everyone who works there has cross party political affiliations, just as every other body in the country has. And this is written on their website under his bio (he is actually a director). They're not trying to hide former political associations. But its an independent and transparent research body. They are transparent with their funding - I can't emphasise how important that is.
