Hard to predict the scores but results wise I'd go with that!

2-1 to Notts and we live to fight another day. Hemmings and O’Brien as Notts overturn a 1-0 halftime deficit.

Have we tried CMS up front alongside Stead? We might have to as Hemmings has just had a bit of stuff done on his knee. This might - just might - be the dynamic duo to rocket us way up the league and out of trouble.

    3 - 0, Stead 1 CMS 2.

Crewe isn't that far away and their average gate about 3,000 is so I'll just go for 3,300 including 470 nervous, trembling, Manic Magpie hopefuls.

We've manoeuvred ourselves into a position where even if we win our last five games we still may drop. The times when beating the teams around us would have done us some good have gone, and so have the points. We have to hope teams above us will do the job for us while we still keep winning, some hope.

I remember our last game in League 1 when we lost away to Gillingham but had to win to avoid relegation. We all felt sorry for ourselves and blamed the Gills, who had nothing to gain or lose in that game, for our plight but as their manager said "...we (Notts) had had a previous forty-five games to pick up the points, don't blame us", or words to that effect.
