Good summary
Its a case or mixture of DMs tactics on the field ( Hoofball ) and the boards inability or desire to financially back him that we fail to compete against Celtic
Does anyone actually think that DM wanted to sign players with previous medical issues. I would be very surprised if that was true
The board currently had 3 Multi Millionaires sat there, the expectation from fans that they should dig deeper to support the incumbent manager.
Dons fans we do are bit, 14000 there yesterday ( How may hand on heart expected us to win ) but we still turn up, many contribute through ABERDNA additional funding
The board needs to show more commitment to funding, its not the fans problem, we pay enough now
Yes, I know new stadium to be funded, again thats not the fans problem thats the boards
Perhaps if we get a windfall for Ryan Fraser potential transfer are manager gets the majority of that cash
I think DM did want to sign them, otherwise he wouldn't have signed them. I get what you're saying though that to get a good quality player in the market we're in, you usually have to take a bit of a gamble, which often means signing a good player who's had injury issues. But this strategy simply hasn't worked, so we need to forget about signing injury prone players - especially several of them at the same time.
I think we all need to cross our fingers and hope Fraser moves for £25m or something like that so we can get some funds for signing players. And I sincerely hope we've got a list of potential signings drawn up already and aren't going to do the usual wait until last minute and resign Ball, Stewart etc on loan again.
Wonder if he’s responsible this year?
"responsible at times"
That's a belter.
The only way we are getting a decent signing in the summer is if season ticket sales are s'hite by the middle of June.
Whether the first yellow was justified or not, having already been given it, to then jump into a challenge with his eyes closed and turned away from the ball was utter stupidity. It's deflection from Ball's lack of professionalism to blame the referee. It's time we looked at ourselves and realised that things are just not good enough.
Whether or not Ball should've got the first yellow or not, and I can't bring myself to watch that embarrassing pish again, he's a professional player who knows he's walking a tightrope. Therefore why go in recklessly when the ball is harmlessly in the middle of the park and give that d1ck of a referee a decision that he enjoys making.
Lewis Ferguson's two footed lunge was also disgraceful way to treat his teammates leaving them with 9 v 11 for 20+ minutes.
They both sold the jerseys and you can't help but wonder if they took their Sevco affiliations on the park whilst wearing the red.
If so, the pair of them can get tae f@ck in my mind...
McKenna, like I've said before, should never have been captain either but through a lack of signing genuine leaders we didn't have a choice.
