My guess is that the opposition start playing in the huge gaps between our three banks of players, leaving our lads unsure wether to attack the ball or hold off. Only an opinion of course.
The fans' backing was fine until the nerves set in after their first goal. It was inevitable that they would go on to win. Everyone in the stadium felt it.
It did seem like they were celebrating a great victory at the end, and I knew their fans wouldn't let me down with a rendering of the child abuse chant.
