    We are carrying to many dead weights at the club and one massive clear out it required...
    We often have a massive clear out but then bring in more deadwood to replace them.

    True, but on the bright side some of the dead wood we sign might be average in non-league rather than awful in League 2!

    Yes we probably are down BUT
    Would you bet your house on Macclesfield staying up?
    Or even £1000?
    A penalty here, a sending off there, an own goal, Macclesfield failing to cope with the pressure or ???
    Macc are certainly the ones under pressure, we have nothing to lose.

    You can be sure our new deadwood will be suited to play at at least one level below where we will be playing.
