No idea the in's and outs but they are still hemorrhaging money for things that happened years ago, players that haven't been there for over two seasons.

    Go on then.

Estimate the AFC budget accurately and tell us what your stellar squad will comprise, give us your best formations, showing cover for each position and tactics against each SPL team next season (you can have a guess at who will win the play off).

Lol, trying to be more attacking is going to get us in the playoffs? I would have thought the way are currently playing will demise even further then you sleepy lot might wake up from your McInnes trance.

Positive football will put more bums on seats....cowardly football which consists of defending for your life and long punts to get the ball in the opposition half will have a complete negative effect on our whole football outlook. Aberdeen FC are boring as f’uck to watch and that is an absolute embarrassment. I know we aren’t going to be the best footballing side in the world but at least we could try and score goals before any negative eye bleeding approach to matches.

This has the potential to be a great box-set addition to Netflix.

There’s two sides to this. McWinless has to make the best of his budget just like every other manager. What isn’t necessary, is the way he sets his side up to play the game. At its best, it’s dull effective football. That’s fine if you’re stringing results together as he’s done in the past (to be fair to the d1ck)

What isn’t acceptable is his attitude to the Tims in particular but also the countless games where we’ve wasted the first half doing absolutely f*ck all, as if we’re waiting to see what the opposition is up to. He’s a reactive manager & he’s not particularly good at it.

The question that everybody should be asking, is if we’re getting value for money from the insufferable @rsehole. I think we could play just as poorly with a manager on much less.

I'll take it from that that you're backtracking on your original lofty comment which I quoted, then, from which I'm assuming that "you could" means that you could?

    As long as we know.

Well, if you break it down, you could take each season and put forward an argument that he has either delivered as per the budgets being spent or has over achieved.
Even this year, his poorest year, we have the third biggest budget and were on course to achieve 3rd place.
Not one season has he underachieved in terms of budget and final placings.

There are plenty of managers in this league that have underachieved and I accept you have to say that despite being McInnes's bitch , Clarke has over achieved with Kilmarnock.

    Lennon underachieved at Hibs
    Levein under achieves at Hearts
Tommy Wright, you have to say overall, he has over-achieved, possibly still is with their current position as 7th.
Brian Rice is too early to tell. He achieved an early new manager bounce, but seem to be settling down to normailty and with a trip away to St Mirren to come, they could end up in the play-off spot.
