    Ball Kendall and Harvey

How fitting it is to see that a statue of these theee wonderful footballers is going to be unveiled before our game tomorrow night. Each one of them were great players in their own right , and the sort of player you looked forward to seeing their names on the starting line up. How Everton could do with any of them right now. Many years ago I had the great pleasure of meeting Alan Ball when he was manager at Portsmouth.whilst visiting relatives. He gave my son and me a personal guided tour around the famous old ground , which ended in us going into the dressing room after training had finished to meet all the players. On our way out , he even arranged for us to attend their home game against Blackburn a couple of days later, with free tickets in the main stand. A really top guy who went out of his way to give us a memorable day .Lets hope the Clarets give us a memorable day also at Goodson tomorrow.
Anyone have any fond memories of watching these 3 legends in action ?

I remember Brian O'Neil kicking the living sh-it out of all three on more than one occasion. Undoubtedly three classy footballers, but without the darker side of the likes of Smith, Harris, Hunter, Storey, Stiles and O'Neil.
