Bassini is now seeking an assurance from the EFL that Bolton will not be deducted 12 points next season.
So he wants them to be made a special case then! Now we'll really see what the EFL are made of!!

Was told the stumbling block is that current owner wants to be on new board.
Probably wants cup final tickets and a free massage as well.

Isn't a 12 point deduction the penalty for going into administration? I don't think Bolton have done so.

There's an excellent article in tonight's Bolton News giving the details so far.
Bassini has found an extra £14m debt owed by Bolton.
Admin could well be the next step. Bassini also said the 12 points if it was deducted could be a deal breaker.
Bassini is meeting with the EFL at 7pm tonight.

Unable to put a link up for Bolton News.

it's always the supporters that suffer, the players still get paid and the committee members and officials of the EFL still get their free lunches and perks.

Don't the supporters play their part with incessant demands that clubs 'speculate to accumulate'' etc
