1. Spoilt Papers 39% (+38)
2. Labour 19% (-17)
3. Cons 17% (-26)
4. Lib Dem 14% ( + 1)
5. Green 11% (+4)

Sadly Labour still rule my local council (Oldbury), which is no surprise. Even if next doors dog was the Labour candidate they'd still win here.

Ist time since iv'e been able to vote, that i couldn't be bothered to vote. Haven't renewed my Labour membership. Only time i'm voting again is if they get the losers vote (so called people's vote).

If the Lib. Dems and the Greens think that they are on the up, think again! This was a vote against the Tories and Labour and how they have dealt with Brexit. Wait until the EU elections come around and Nigel Farage's Brexit Party will power through.

I voted Independent for the first time as a protest against the main parties. Regardless of that I have come to the conclusion that national politics shouldn't play much of a part in local politics.I would love to see this replicated nationwide

We didn’t have local elections here this time but the next election that does come around will have me voting for whichever party I feel give s the best chance of dumping Brexit. I really cannot understand why anybody still thinks that Brexit is a good idea; why vote to make yourself poorer?

Local elections should be decided on local issues. Euro elections is the time to vote on Europe.

The Euro Elections illustrate just how bonkers politics across Europe is right now. We are leaving but Europe it will be the No1 issue for the UK. In most EU countries voters will be voting based on their own domestioc issues such as Macron's reforms.

BTW whether we will be better or worse off is a matter of opinion not fact.

I cannot understand why anyone would vote to remain in the EU. As for being poorer there is no reason whatsoever to assume that. In fact it is just as likely that we will be far better off. I cannot believe the arrogance of Remainers who feel it is totally acceptable to try and ride rough shod over a democratically decided vote to leave.
