I’m not aware if there is a grace period to enforce the regulations or whatever.
I merely pointed out the regulations as stipulated by UEFA
The only thing I could find from the UEFA website says the following

The UEFA administration may grant an exception to a specific structural criterion for the stadium category in question in cases of particular hardship and upon reasoned request, for instance owing to the current national legislation or if the fulfilment of all the required criteria would force the club to play its home matches on the territory of another association. An exception can be granted for one or more matches in the competition or for the whole duration of the competition. Such decisions are final

So there doesn't seem to be any deadline, looks like we just have to apply each year

This thread depresses me the more I read it.
The fact that it is OBVIOUS we are just being led a line of bullsh!t is just so so annoying.

As I said earlier, nobody wants to move that I know of, from Pittodrie.

UEFA aren't forcing us to play anywhere else, and we are not likely to reach the semis of the UEFA cup anytime soon, so no concerns there either.

The fact that our house building multi millionaire chairman has allowed the home of our club to crumble to its current state is a crime in its own.

Just so p!ssed with everything on and off the field right now, but particularly the off field sh!t.

We really are just a cash cow that is treated with utter contempt by everyone at board level.
Give us your money, now sit down and shut up.

Well, I for one am not doing it anymore. I won't renew the two seasons tickets I have had for years and will pick and choose the games i go to.

If Kingsford does eventually get going, it will be a bigger version of St. Johnstone's ground, which in my opinion is one of the worst in the country, location wise, atmosphere wise and getting a pint anywhere close wise.

On my travels again last night at FC Twente(Nobody says it without FC)

Noticed there was a kids zone, when i was having a wander i could see there was games and entertainment and basically a fanzone for kids, while the mums and dads chatted over a beer. There was also free championship scarves handed out to every kid. Inside the ground there was only one area without a spattering of empty red seats and that was the "kids zone" (i know this as it had a big banner saying). I also noticed in the club shop alot of Kid related garb and other sh@t like toys, jigsaws, etc.All cheap as f@ck. Free name printing on kids tops too. They know what they are doing.

Simple things but effective as there were thousands of kids there all kitted out. Making kids a priority. Who would have though eh?

We just have a family stand with the occasional hand out of a tooter or such like. You may get a high five fae Donny, Angus or Si. But thats it. The club need to rear the next generation but are failing miserably. They dont need to bust the bank. But again they are nae interested in the next gen. Who will be the dafties that "fill" the Kingsford Krapshack. But they are nae important.

I would love to think that someone at Pittodrie is also doing the type of visits you are around Europe, although I am pretty sure they won't be.
They need to go as normal fans and not as suited w@nkers where they are treated to prawn sandwiches and soft seats. Go in with the guys and gals that are paying their own hard earned to see the game. Actually speak to normal people.

In fact, to make it even easier, would you be interested in doing this? You could approach Pittodrie and ask them to pay a small amount to cover expenses etc and you could even do it for them???? Sorry if its nothing you would be interested in doing, just thinking out loud.

Maybe you aren't that keen, but I am sure others could be.
That's what I call consulting the fans, not sending out an email every now and then.....

I would do it off my own back. I have visited so many clubs that i have seen the pre match entertainment and thought "its nae hard". Valerenga being the best, but the likes of Twente, NEC Nijmegen, Rapid Vienna Airdrieonians are something to aspire to. Its really not hard

Also to be a regular joe is also easy. Phone the club, be nice and you get treated well. Ive had free tickets from Go Ahead Eagles and PEC Zwolle in the last year as ive had a bit of banter with the person on the other end.

Jesus, I wish someone on the board or connections with the board could read this, a fan willing to help out off his own back.

If only we had someone that worked for the club on here......................................anyone? Anyone? Anyone?

    Maybe, but it seems discretional.
Always at risk of not being approved, although I accept there's nothing to suggest they would not grant in alignment with previous years.
Thing is, have we tested them yet as we have not reached the group stages
