I 'insinuated' that Lawrence dived and not he is a cheat. A player can score a great goal but still be a waste of money. Messi can miss a penalty but still be the best player in the world. You should respect the opinions of others just as I respect yours and not demand apologies from them.

If you think, as you are entitled to, you don't need to apologise, how about merely stating that you were, in this case, wrong.
