I’m fairly ambivalent on the manager. Things aren’t as good as they were. I remember games against Celtic under the Ronny Deila regime where we were excellent at home against them. Probably games in the first Neil Lennon regime too. We certainly miss Jonny Hayes and the current team are nowhere near the 2016/17 side. Goodness knows what the summer will bring.

    This is a massive summer.
Recruitment has to seriously not suck.

I think we need a statement signing, like picking off a young Scottish talent from a Well or Killie (a McLean/Shinnie type signing).
We need to stop with the scattergun, lower league in England signings. For every Joe or Shay there seems to be five Zolas.
Less loans, watch the post-injury gambles...........and look at Europe as well as England and Ireland.

Hopefully Ryan gets the mega deal move he clearly deserves and Bournemouth pass on a decent wedge that can/should be used to bolster our squad to have a better chance of upsetting the odds.

As I said on another thread I actually thought we played pretty well in the first half, especially as you say given the players we were missing. However there have been other home games where we have had players more than capable of taking the game to Celtic (certainly better players than the likes of Hibs and hertz) but have obviously been given a game plan by McInnes to sit deep and concede the ball to Celtic, which I maintain is just the wrong way to try to beat Celtic at home given the weakest part of their team has been their defence.

I know the club's coaches have been concerned about lack of width/pace of late due to injuries and with transfer restrictions due to the window, this will be addressed.....if Wiggy dips into his millions.......I do know he wants to be the richest man buried in Alford though....you are correct about the first half......we actually played some nice stuff.....2 games left and they are winnable “if” injuries clear up, however, we might be running out of time.

I hadn’t realised he didn’t have much of a contract left

Good news folks, Del thinks the poor home form is down to the fans. Not him but you. Your fault. Not his.

    That's because he's a bellend

Funnily enough three of the most positive pro McInnes guys I know have turned on him in the last fortnight. His fault. Not theirs

Lets not start on the amount of ST holders who are either humming and haying or just not renewing next season. His fault, not theirs

He has to go, he has only qualified for Europe every year, finally and continually got the bogey of not winning at Govan which was totally unacceptable/doable for a dandy coach, unfortunately there was some silverware and sadly he has tied our 3 greatest assets down on long term deals unlike what happened with Fraser, an absolute disgrace of a coach ......other bad news, our support has grown, especially away from home(big thanks to the half empty minibus there!)......indeed.....run him out of town and let the half empty minibus be on the selection committee with their greater knowledge of fitba to get a more suitable replacement and put us where we should be with the finances offered by Wiggy.
