Yea but not unexpected, nothing to fear either if we turn up, Ayr were our only real bogey side this season, Inverness beat us once in 5 so far this season and it was last minute

Bring it on, if we are still in the tie then Tannadice will be class next Friday night

Inverness have played a lot of games now. They had their cup run and plenty of replays.

Expect they could run out of steam at some point. Hopefully Ayr will at least make a game of it on Saturday, early goal needed from them

I’m liking that the next game is on Saturday rather than Friday night - means one less day recovery before playing us.

We owe ICT a skelping after Robertson's antics during the cup game.

Yes a lot was made of that. The media hate us and enjoyed the last minute goal!

Ultimately that was really poor performance from us. I’m not sure if it was the focus on league or what but that was a bit of low point at the time.

Beaten ICT since which is important

It will take something special from Ayr to make the next round now.

Whatever happens, United are in for a very tough, hard, battle.

Fasten your seat belts, enjoy the ride and lets hope we reach our destination - the Premier League.

Ideal that match turning into a bit of a contest.

Would it be too much to hope for to have a bit of extra time ....

Aye, too much to hope for - our old favourite Col Donaldson has wrapped it up for ICT.

    4-2 on aggregate.

They’ve had to put in a hard shift to do it though. I would have been concerned if they’d cruised to a two or three goal lead by HT and been able to ease up and make subbies. Instead it sounds like it’s been a right old battle. Which should only benefit ourselves ultimately, especially what with the tie being today rather than last night reducing their recovery time.
