I used to have an Aunty Doris, I used to have an Aunty Ada, our next door neighbour was called Enid, were they just not very nice people these old ladies, no one wanted to name their children after them, and now they're gone, all gone, the Ethels, Adas, Enids, Doras, Claras and Doris's, as extinct as the woolly mammoth. What happened to them, it's as if a giant meteor arrived from outer space and totally obliterated the lot of them, there must surely be one or two survived this natural disaster, does anyone know of any ?

My mother was one of four sisters, Minnie, Gladys, Edith and Renee. R.I.P. Doris Day and perhaps we can instigate a proper name campaign in her memory?
