Ta pal. Yep, fair play there are several articles on the issues. Although how far that seeped into the public awareness I'm not sure. I'm a bimbo but no slouch on UK affairs and only really became aware of the issues when the word 'backstop' appeared in 2017. I'm sure I'm no different to 90%of other thickos trying to engage with the situation.

No it isn't. We could put things right now. We just don't have the political will. It's that simple. You can brexit all you want but it won't fix anything until you have the right mindset to deal with this in government and their funding bodies. I don't see it as a step forward in enabling this at all. It's illegal now and can be dealt with now. We just choose not to and are blaming the wrong people. Sighs. Twas ever thus I suppose :-)

pup, it took me about 15 mins to find that lot and I didnt even try hard. There is tons of info out there that is easy to find. The Blair and Major video alone was seen by millions. The Irish border debate was well covered by the media in all its forms pre the Brexit vote.

I assume by the "90% of the other thickos" you are referring to our politicians?

British Steel was bought by people like the ones who bought Rover, they just wanted to make a quick buck out of it, there was never any long term future.

In fairness you told me to look for the "1922 bill", none of these articles were pulled up by those keywords and others besides. I even tried "was Ireland part of Brexit referendum debates" and got little response. You obviously know where to look!
