The Sun say Sheik Mansours cousin is paying £350 million for the Toon,is he on the Qatar sports investment group that owns PSG.

I hope this is true,Sky said yesterday that they were going for Leeds but Leeds denied this.

I only know what i got told last September from my mate who lives out there. But its too much of a coinciedence mate.

I got told it was 2 families/groups working together to buy Newcastle and also looking at Leeds and Sheff Utd incase we got relegated and one of the other 2 got promoted.
They wanted a huge sleeping giant that they can turn into a conveyor belt of homegrown talent after initially splashing out to make them top 6.

I think the PSG lot are one of the families and this Sheik is the other. Stavely has been used to get the ball rolling and Ashley constructed the Kenyon thing to drive up the price n shlt. So they backed off.

Im certainly not in the know or anything like that, just a random fecknugget who got some info on the piss.
(i was told to keep it quiet but for jucy **** like this id sing like a canary )

That bloke on Talksport said in December that it was a done deal aswel.
Now Stavely hires an entire hotel in Newcastle on May 23rd for a group of Arabs.
Then Sky report the Leeds interest
Now the speculation on us being sold

its looking increasingly likely that this will happen.
