Why I'm making this point is that Remainers are banging on that if you add all the votes together there are more Remainers than Brexiteers. You can only go off the votes that have been cast, I think it was 37%.

If you look at it, pro remain parties won around 40% of the vote and pro leave parties won around 35%.

However, no-one knows if the Tory/Labour voters are leavers or remainers and two thirds of the country didn't vote in this election.

So I think the only thing we can all assume is that the country is still very polarised and divided.
