There aint gonna be an happy outcome for the downtrodden of this country. To think different is deluding yourself. The world is in the shyte economically and environmentally the uk staying in or coming out of the EU will not change that.
You are miles off target roly but if that is what you think so be it.

This is a one issue item and that's Brexit. He is the champion of British patriots and all sensible voters that want out for obvious reasons.

The Labour Party are the only long term saviours of this country - for the people NOT the few.

It's easy to find stats about the rich getting far richer after 10 years of austerity. A newspaper man quite rightly questioned May's tears about leaving - when she shed no tears about the rise in knife / violent crime following her cull of 22,000 bobbies. She's never shed a tear about the unbelievable use of food banks and no doubt she dismissed the unbiased UN report about the tories sending social services back to the Victorian age.

And we see her leaving church....the tories are lower than rats - the Brexit party are champions of democracy ( on the subject of Brexit ) and the Labour party will be cleared by the recently announced antisemitic report. The timing this issue came to light tells the tale that it's just a smear campaign - to reflect the light from an appalling tory government that is only in power due to blackmail remember - ONE BILLION POUND PER VOTE !

    JC is never antisemitic - DYOR....FFS !

Israel are not being nice to Palatine - that's a fact not antisemitic. Israel can look after itself - they are tough cookies.

JC has been in the corner for the Palestinians long enough to know that the word "Zionist" is not the word he should have used at that particular time and in that particular place without understanding what it meant! He knew exactly what it meant.

Your earlier post (quote "The worrying thing for me so far from this election (Brexit apart) is the upsurge of far right parties and then you have Trump in America.")

Evidence you can't separate Brexit from the upsurge of the right as you state above. All inextricably linked through Farage.

I am in no way an expert in this area but simple research suggests that the word in question refers to:

"People that supports the re-establishment of a Jewish homeland in the territory defined as the historic Land of Israel (roughly corresponding to Canaan, the Holy Land, or the region of Palestine)"

But isn't that Israel want ?

Blair won a 66 seat majority in 2005 with just over 35% of the vote.

Exit polls have been pretty much off the mark in the referendum and last general election.

If a general election pops up anytime soon, I'm increasingly beginning to believe, the idea the EU election was simply a protest vote might be proven to be wrong.

It's irrelevant where the country stands now. The result of the 1st referendum needs to be honoured.

We voted in or out. That's it. Whether your average voter was ill informed or not, it's clear the vote has to be respected.

I think Farage will be loving this. If we go to a 'peoples vote', every Brexit supporter will demand a best of 3 vote. If we have a GE tomorrow, the Brexit Party will win a lot of seats. That's why Corbyn is backtracking. He knows many of his MP's have voted against the will of his constituents, in this whole process.

If we fudge agreeing a deal (there isn't a decent deal on the table at present) or our politicians try and force us to remain on 31st October, there will be scores of MP's defecting to the Brexit Party.

Ant and Dec and have a fair shot at winning 30% of the vote if they throw their hat into the ring at the next GE.

Both major parties said the vote would be honoured. Parliament has to do that because no deal or leaving with a deal means out.

Nobody knows what will happen if we do. Life will go on and history says we'll be OK.

Yep agree with a lot of that howdy. A general election now would be suicide for both major parties. If the tories and Labour can somehow get us out of the EU now on some sort of compromise they should be able to dust themselves down and start again when this is all over and the Brexit party vanishes from whence it came. Its one thing the likes of Farage having a lot of power in the Euro assemblies but it would pretty disastrous for us all if he had a lot of power in the h of p.

Its all fascinating stuff and the movies will be being made at this moment and there could even be a sting in the tail yet!
