Where he was a pain in their sides fighting for the UK cause. He left mainstream politics as I am sure you know but choose to forget.

What do you think about what Farage said about ignoring a narrow Remain win in the referendum? If he was willing to ignore a narrow win for Remain, why are you so angry that remain supporters are carrying on their campaign?

I am not angry by anyone carrying on the remain bid at all where have I ever said I was?

I am angry at a government that promised an exit from the EU only to fail to do so under the guise of it it will be a bad thing for the country. This government won its election on the point that it would deliver Brexit and that Brexit meant Brexit.

I do not expect people to be happy about and are in their rights to try and do something that they believe in but once they lose that argument for a 2nd time I do not expect them to continue beating a dead horse.

If remain would have won, I would have respected the result and got on with my life. I would have forgot about Farage after that (unless of course there were some new treaties implemented without our say so). I wouldn't start going on about what type of remain people wanted.

By doing exactly what Farage has said that he would do? He's a self confessed anti democrat by your own definition. Yet you follow him. Why?

Farage wouldn't have done. You, Farage, and others here keep going on about the awfulness of remainers not accepting a democratic vote. Yet following the very person who has admitted that in the event of a narrow remain victory in 2016, he would not accept the democratic vote. So why are you and others following Farage's bleating about all this being about democracy. Its awful hypocrisy innit?

Yes but I've just explained people like me wouldn't have carried on bleating on about it and it's probable that Farage would have slowly disappeared and I wouldn't have supported his lack of democracy. As it happens, he is trying to uphold democracy which in this case I support.

So you can only take my word that I would have not supported undemocratic values but we know in your case that you do!!!

I wouldn’t be too quick to blame only the Right for the ‘blame the immigrants’ phenomenon. On this thread, there has been a number of posts from Left leaning posters about how EU migrants are responsible for depressing wages and making the lot of the working man worse. They may have been expressed in a slightly more sympathetic way than the style of the 'they eat our carp and swans and drop litter brigade’ but they are on the same spectrum.
