What is it that might make you vote for Khan again when according to a recent YouGov poll, his popularity is on the decline?

Is it the soaring violent crime rates, cancelled transport infrastructure upgrades, the ongoing Crossrail fiasco, missed house-building targets, millions being splurged on waste, bureaucracy and PR by City Hall or the fact he's sanctioned this balloon to fly over London showing us to be a country lacking in any dignity towards a visiting head of state? Just wondered like....

I'd like to add a third individual to the abhorant list, Jeremy Corbyn, and no he is not a Remainer. We all know that at heart he is a Brexiteer. What a hypocrite this man is. He won't sit down with the leader of our greatest allies but is prepared to sit down with the most despotic and ruthless leaders within the modern era. Let's just say he wins the next election, and God help us if he does, how is he going to communicate with Donald Trump, who in all probability will gain another term of office. Corbyn has no statesman like qualities whatsoever and appears to forget, conveniently, that a major part of this visit is to honour the dead of both our countries who died freeing us from tyranny. Those brave lads, from both sides of the Atlantic, must be turning in their graves at the thought of Corbyn as leader of our country.

Just all of my personal opinions.....

Its not surprising his popularity is on the decline, he had the strongest approval ratings of any London Mayor around a year or so ago.

Soaring violent crime, I blame the Tories for damaging public sector cuts rather than Khan.

Crossrail doesn't really affect me, if it did maybe I'd think differently. He did freeze underground prices when he first came in. In the face of more Tory cuts to TFL.

House building targets, maybe because I have a place down here it doesn't affect me. I did read in the local paper that more affordable housing has been built than planned, without checking I'm not sure about other house building projects.

I know he's big on trying to reduce air pollution, which I think is important in London.

And I agree with the blimp as a form of protest, towards a foreign politician who doesn't respect the democratically elected Mayor of London.

Care to elaborate on the waste? I know Boris spent £44m on a bridge that was never built and bought water canons that we couldn't use because they were against UK laws...

Sadiq Khan looked like a kid who’d had his dinner money taken off him by the class bully on TV interviews today.

Utterly crushed by Trump’s put down of him on Twitter.

No point poking the bear with a stick if you’re only armed with a pop gun Sadiq.

And as for your first Trump statement, just take a look at the most recent U.S. approval ratings...

Trump was right in his description of Khan.

I believe he got 44% of the vote in the first phase of voting for mayor. Shame. Only another 4% would have taken him to the magical 48% and then there could have been calls for a second vote

Missed it 68 but found it now and Des speaks a lot of sense. So not arguing with a fool is as simple as 123😆

Whatever people think of Trump - he’s not thick and see he had a private meeting with Farage. Not thick either with his assessment on cold hard losers and not meeting a complete excuse for a human!

Have you applied for the head coach role 68 to beat Appleton to the job?

All these anti-Trump protesters should watch today's programmes on the D-Day landings. The Americans may not have won the war but without them it's a certainty we'd have lost it. Life then would have been a ' different kettle of fish'. Don't these Leftist protesters understand history and what life for following generations, of which they are a part, would have been like under the Nazi regime. Don't they understand the sacrifices made by those young men so that they can make their silly protests. No, unfortunately they'd prefer to listen to a Marxist Corbyn pontificating about uniting our country. What a joke! Actually, it's no joke, it's extremely serious.
