Just a couple of bits from the above link you might like to take notice of.

"Confidence among Europe’s steelmakers has been displayed by a string of investments, such as Voestalpine’s decision to build western Europe’s first specialist steelworks since at least the 1980s at a cost of up to €300m.

A helping hand in the industry’s turnround has come from the EU. Brussels has slapped tariffs on various forms of steel from outside the bloc judged to be dumped — meaning sold below home market prices or the costs of production — or illegally subsidised.

"Our 2018 outlook for the steel sector in Europe is stable on the back of expected growth in steel demand from the construction and auto industries,” says Gianmarco Migliavacca, senior credit officer at the rating agency. Mr Shillaker adds: “The global supply/demand balance is healthy with demand strong and constrained output keeping steel spreads high."

    And most importantly.

"A final piece in the puzzle will be the outcome of long-awaited merger and acquisition deals in the European steel industry.

The theory is that fewer players in the market would result in more constrained supply, anchoring prices and so making imports less attractive for buyers."

I see the vexatious Boris court case has been thrown out.

Cheerio to the money that was crowd funded.

Whatever you think about Corbyn do you seriously believe he will do less for the working class than Boris. We are talking Thatch style economics here. Did you do well under Thatch?

I hope you are a very rich man Biglad.

The same argument would have applied if the remainers had won narrowly.

Personally I think we have no choice now but to leave the EU but I am seriously concerned that this will turn out to be a monumental ill thought out balls up that will benefit very few people in this country. There is nothing the tory party has done so far to think they could manage a Brexit that will bring prosperity to all. Don't forget this will be a tory brexit or, if the loony Farage does well, a far right Brexit. It is not gonna benefit the likes of Exile, Big Lad or Rolymiller. Why should it? It is going to have a right wing slant on it.
So you're happy to carry on with things as they are?

Nope, not against coming out of the EU but the problem with this country is that everything is botched and patched up we never do anything feckin properly. Look at the health service, education all patched up. No forward planning, no proper investment. It will be the same with Brexit. I have no faith this will be managed properly and do you know who will suffer most from this? Me and thee and people like us Exile but mainly those much worse off than us. People with money will literally be laughing all the way to the bank. Why do you think the likes of Rees Mogg, Farage and Boris are all for it?

    Kerching Kerching is the answer..
