I must say I was critical of the Well Society and the whole fan ownership thing when it was revealed that was the route we were going down. I couldn't see how it was going to work with such a small fan base. Now it looks like the Well Society are doing a fine job of helping run the club and keep it afloat with the cash donations. Glad to say it looks like i was totally wrong and long may that continue. It does look like that was the way to go when you see some clubs and how they are run. What probably helps us also is the fact it's basically fans that run the club, not just from the society but in the boardroom as well.

The bottom line is that we don't have the welfare of the club in the hands of a single owner. Seems like the natural thing that those who turn up regularly at Fir Park should be the owners.

The Society has kept the club afloat in its time of need. Once our debts have been paid off we can then put the cash input to more constructive purposes.
