Thread: Signings imminent

When is he going to be fit to play. He only had the Op in January so he wouldn't be fit for the first half of the season would he? Can't see us paying out for an injured player tbh.

Did rate him when he was with us though.

Grants a "footballer" - that to me is flexible enough to suit a variety of needs. He'll be a great signing.

He'll be up to fitness and ready to start games by mid September from what I hear. By all accounts he's been doing rehab at Ipswich and doing very well.

Cheers Froggy. I thought that sort of injury was a year out minimum. I've read somewhere most of this next season is gonna be a write off but I suppose that can't be right.

It’s usually around 9 months recovery time for the injury he sustained.
He is making excellent progress although after his injury it’s anyone’s guess whether he’s the same player we had on loan.

It the same player, it’s whether he can play the same as he used that’s the important factor!

He's got Hammy to advise him and other staff that are better equipped theses days than they've ever been.

Bye heck we'll have a good un ont cheap if he gets through it and plays as good as he did the first time he was with us!

Being a free agent he's certainly worth the risk.

there is a lot of work required yet to get this squad up to scratch especially if Semi leaves as warne has suggested today. We are starting to back away from deals as well.

Of course the important factor is whether he can gain form back to where he was before his injury. Some players do and some don’t.
