You can't distance yourself from social interaction whether you like it or not. You must have had influences in your upbringing to have the career you have. Are you telling me you suddenly thought "I want to be a lawyer when I grow up". Someone or thing will have influenced you to choose the career you did. The job I had after leaving school was very much influenced by my dad. Influence has a powerful impact in all aspects of life though. To say people just choose things of their own free will is nonsense. They choose things on what sounds best for themafter weighing up the options. People who have access to means of giving a more powerful message are more likely to persuade you so to say that Murdoch only has an equal influence as anyone else is just plain bollax.
