damn right everybody you would expect to be down the bottom fighting it out are making signings and strengthening if we get it wrong we could well find ourselves being this seasons Huddersfield decent team but just not strong enough.
maybe we weren't interested but I think we were, we have all heard the noises coming from the club about it being the wages that are the problem with most targets but surely we can compete on wages with Sheff Utd, Norwich, Villa.

Living away from the area I do not get the inside information about all these targets that we are trying to sign, therefore, I would be very grateful if someone who is obviously in the know could publish a definitive list of players for whom we have definitely made a bid and why this has been turned down. Thanks for your help.

Just to clarify --I do not want the rumours that appear in the media because they are rarely near the mark, what I want to know is the players that the management have said that we are trying to sign and have made bids for.

From the most reliable club "source" I have, the only actual real time offer we have made, was to extend Crouchy's contract.

This one may need ratification, but apparently two extra dead bolts have been inserted on the Dry Powder Room front door.
