Trying to survive is for clubs that are genuinely trying to survive and those clubs are not in the premier league.

And if that is the extent of your ambition for the club then fine...but stop talking bollox to try to convince the rest of us to accept it.

I'm also pleased he's gone. He's shown his true colours and showed that his integrity is not what people made it out to be, in my opinion.

People can feel free to blow as much smoke up his aris as they want to. He gets none from me.

For someone to keep hinting at Rafas lack of integrity but yet support Ashley (lying, deceptive ,unscrupulous and despotic)is amazing. Especially when their standard of integrity involves running to a mackem forum just to find people that agree with his unfounded opinions.

What would you expect anyone to do if they knew their job was untenable ? Would you expect them to look for alternatives or just pray that everything will be ok and carry on regardless?

Good. I'm very happy he's gone. He's shown exactly what he is by going to China. He's no man of integrity in my mind.
    You're welcome to your thoughts.

Yeah, it's a shame but he was hankering for a move and quite a few on here were calling for his head before he was let off the leash amid the booing.
That likely rubber stamped his mind on wanting out.
Now we need to replace him. Let's see what happens because we need a manager in first and move on from there, which I believe we will.

It depends what you class as a feel good factor and when this feel good factor was in and when it disappeared.
My feel good factor changes from week to week depending on how we play.
I don't fret too much over owners or MD's or managers, or players, because I know that world of football clubs and ways, changes like the wind.

It depends on what you were hoping for.
I always have hope. My hope is also based on day to day with Newcastle. I hope for many things. Some I get and some I don't but the hope is always there.

The club's gone nowhere. It's there to support if you want to and it's name will be part of a 20 name premier league set up, all starting the season on zero points and let the games begin.
If that's the club gone then you have to assume that every club below us have gone.

I'm fully awake. Fully awake and I'm 100% fully behind Newcastle United football club. And I am doing it all, as I have done all of my life....unconditionally.

You've attached conditions to your support and that's fine....but let me ask you something.

You knew for a long long time who ran this club. Did you have any conditions attached to your support then?
Did you have any conditions attached to your support in your 37 years as a supporter?

It seems that people are getting dragged along on a conveyor belt of frenzied hatred for a man who owns a club that has that club still in the premier league after 12 years, regardless of slip ups.

Nahhhh, this club isn't dead. far from it.

I support Newcastle United with Ashley in charge or Fred Bloggs or whoever.
    I'm not championing Ashley's integrity,
What I am doing is bringing up Rafa's lack of integrity from my point.

Rafa didn't run this club, Ashley does.
Certain people's minds are already made up on what's what with Rafa and Ashley. Some believe he left because Ashley wouldn't play ball. I have a different opinion and my opinion certainly doesn't paint Rafa in a good light.

Oh, don't worry the same scenario will play out this year - no new player additions to date so you will see the Rafa effect in full HD.
