No I was in Tenrrife at the time as, for some obscure reason, the SPLF have chosen to run the early matches of the league cup in pre-season.

Aye. Just as well as you say. He's at a summer school thing I believe. Sports and outdoor stuff.

    Will be all forgotten already!

Just put myself through the goals on azone and i doesnt look any better. I have to give EF credit for the way they turned defense into attack on both occasions, but none of the players that were up the park in our attack did anywhere near enough to get back. Even the last line in Benji should have done better.

There was only one time when we turned defense into attack with 3 passes box to box, and the final product wasnt good enough, because EF knew their jobs and stuck to them!

Any team hoping to win the league this season can't really afford to lose more than around 6-7 games and will need to keep draws to a minimum.

It will be a tight league this season - but if United can't beat East Fife at home in a cup match knowing they would qualify for the next round, it could be a warning sign of things to come.

I was sincerely hoping that a revived United this season would encourage Middle Eastern Sanitary Technician to resume posting on this board. After last night's performance I suspect there's a fat chance of that!

You rarely have anything to say about Dundee United, you pine incessantly for Arab_Plumber, get a ****ing life and if that gets me a ban you know what its gonna save me a lot of time. I have the greatest respect for any fan on here that disagrees with me but no respect for people who call our club The Shed and are right up other posters. FACT

Our club is not called The Shed. Our club is called Dundee United. The Shed was where people like me gathered in the sixties.
The chant Shed go marching on wasnt meant to mean "Dundee United go marching on" it meant the Shed go marching on - supporting Dundee United.
