Decent player. Can play AM, centrally in MF or out on the left wing. 3 international caps 3 seasons ago but nothing since then. Once Cocu left PSV, Ramselaar fell out of favour and hasn't played since November.

He has 6 goals in 58 1st XI appearances and 7 in 76 overall (PSV U23s play in the Dutch 2nd tier). Over the 76 games he has 13 assists to his name. I don't know the 1st/U23 split stats on the assists. Dutch defences, even in the Eredivisie aren't of that great a standard so I wouldn't expect him to start scoring rucks of goals and providing a steady string of assists.

He has failed to convince van Bommel he is worth a place and that is why they are prepared to let him go. Worth a punt if Cocu can get him up and running again but, with a mere 2 years left on his 5 year contract I would be disappointed if we spent anything like £2M on him unless it was including add ons.

Like FloJo, he CAN be good, very good, but I have my doubts that the hustle and bustle of the Championship is a place where he would flourish. If he comes I wish him well but my expectations will not be high.
