    Good idea pip.
Much better than waiting for Leyton Orient to make their minds up about the Centre-Back.

Trialist Zak Dearnley trained this morning just been released from Man U can play on wing or striker #rufc

Could this be the forward stroke winger Warney has had in mind?

Looks like a left winger to me.

He's a Sheffield lad too so would suit him

What oldham fans thought of him when on loan last season.

Of course, I am assuming this is right but sounds good if true, we need a winger.

Dru Yearwood gone to Brentford. A good try by us but it was never gonna happen. Suspect summat similar with the Orient Lad.

If we'd signed Mike Yearwood, he could have impersonated Messi on the pitch

Not convinced that looking at trialists is going to turn up any gems. As regards centre backs - I hope we aren't going to end up in the usual situation ie read out "Couldn't quite get the deal over the line"/ "We will learn from our mistakes" statement on deadline day yet again.

At least PW is aware we definitely need more recruiting for the defence and the club are putting bids in on different players.
PW also realises atm we have a small squad.
Please don't put atm, Paul Douglas may think it means " at the machine ", that could make him have a wobble on his purse strings.

As I said, pure guess but !
Millerstale, I mentioned this player quite a bit ago and we should have gone in then. League 2 player so wouldn't have cost the earth and he could well have been well set in the side by now.

Of course Warne was always going to be looking for a more classier player but, IF we do go back for this lad it looks as though it's just second best scraping the barrel as a last resort. I did like this player's commitment though when I saw him in the FA Cup tie Mansfield were in last season.
