I must confess to having no interest in this competition. I have heard and read all of the negativity surrounding the EFL Cup but I must confess to not knowing which cup it replaced or if it's a new cup. Maybe someone can fill me in with the details.
Certainly Manchester United being drawn in the next round of the cup would make you think of a full house with hopefully the cameras and the world looking on hoping for a win against the odds for the Millers. A great show case and a great build up with dreams of knocking them out should be on the cards but alas it seems that no one is going.
Is it worth doing a Matchthread? Is the competition the real reason we watch the Millers or is it the meeting up with mates, having a pint or a cup of tea with Brin and I whilst several beer monsters in the shape of Zippy watch on with a strange look at you wondering about your ***uallity but that could have been Brins overcoat!!!!!
Will you be watching? I'm not sure myself to the bemusement of the wife who is either suffering from shock or brain freeze from the ice cream she's just scoffed too quickly. I just don't know whether I'll watch it!
Come on you reds!!

Just seen the Man Utd squad at the Aston Hotel, I hope they are as bad as their coach driver!
It took him 20 mins to reverse out of the car park
