Disnae ring ony bells
I only saw 41,974 bands during those alcohol fuelled years, so there's a fair chance.
I was a bit late onto the scene though (1978) so if they came and went before then then probably not.
Aberdeen bands?.....I probably saw most if they ever made it onstage, brief recollections of a band called The Abductors and I knew the lads that played in The Parts.
The Parts played a lot at a pub in Bon Accord Crescent, can't remember the name.
Not surprising really as I got so pished one night I stole the fag machine.
Edit: it was The Crescent, must have been open on Sundays or something, only ever went to see The Parts

I wasn't aware APB were so popular. I was listening to an old John Peel Show on YouTube and he was playing them. Wikipedia describes them as Post-Punk but I thought they were more funk and were involved in the Dundee funk scene of the late 1970s/early 1980s. I still can't believe that Dundee had any kind of music scene!
Aye, I didn't mean they were from Dundee just that they were heavily involved in that scene. I didn't know they were from Ellon though, I just thought they were an Aberdeen band that played out with the 'shire (a rare occurrence although your Toxik Ephex would be another)...When did Toxik Ephex become Toxik Ephex and why did it replace The Abductors?
And did you support Crass in Perth in 1982 when the riot happened?
Just over 11 quid for a european game match ticket, now that's a decent price..
