    Have you got the 'calamities per minute' stats there Costa? I think Casilla would have edged that one

    Easy to pick out one statistic, and even then, its hardly an earth-shattering difference (not exactly supporting the "1000% better" nonesense that somebody spouted.

    Was BPF better in every respect, No. Was he as good as Casilla, and paid a sh1te-load less, absolutely;

    The full table;

    "Shots on target faced" is particularly telling, but you wouldn't have wanted to show that, would you?

    Pros & cons for both keepers to be fair but I would have to agree with what this guy tweeted as well !!!

    Hard to compare keepers when majority of the outfield players were playing loads better before January.. Kiko would have looked like De Gea pre January

    Again, easy to try to prove a point with selective quotes, but there are more, aren't there?

    Kt really isn't as there are a lot of stats on there that show kiko was the worst keeper out of the 2, expected goals conceded/avg shots per game shows he had less shots to save than bailey so hard to say defence were better start of the season really

    Exactly that. Fair to argue Bailey had a better/tighter/in form defence, but Kiko actually faced fewer shots.

    I think kiko is a very poor keeper to be fair, some of the goals conceded his positioning has been awful and then most of the time dives the wrong way as well

    I sent some screen shots to my mate about his positioning for brentfords, Wigan, and sheff utd goals and if he stays in his 6yrd box they don't score the fact he's so far out actually opens up the goal for the striker"

    The stats don't lie, and they weren't produced to suit my argument, they just support it. BPF was on a par with the guy who was brought in at vast expense and paid a kings ransom and who cost us the Derby game (and others).

    If Casilla continues as he did last season and against Bristol this, we are f00ked, and bringing in some kid from Lorient isn't going to give any sleepless nights worrying about his No.1 position, unfortunately.

    It appears blatantly obvious that we will never agree on this matter but I personally have more faith in Bielsa & the coaching staff's judgement & opinions than yours.

    I don't expect you to agree with me, but being honest in using stats would be preferable. At least you took the trouble to look some up, unlike others who just come out and insult BPF without providing any kind of basis for it.

    On the judgement issue, I'd suggest that so far the decision to recruit Casilla has not been one of Bielsas best decisions (if of course it was his decision)

    It's all about opinions - you have yours & I have mine which differ greatly so lets just leave it at that !!

    new it was too good to last - why do you have to insult posters if they disagree with you. The phrase people in glass houses somewhat comes to mind..

    this could be the best season we have had in ages and we have already signed two today with another four possibly coming in but you seem intent of sucking the joy of it out for others.

    "If the cap fits"?? Post #27 "BPF is the worst shot stopper I've seen at Elland Road, my granny could get down to a shot quicker than him"

    Opinion based on.........????? Absolutely nothing, hence making a tool of himself by displaying rank ignorance and outright laziness. Getting the full LUFC stats is as difficult as putting "BPF vs Casilla" into a Google search, but then that would show objectively, that BPF is by no means the "worst shot stopper" at Elland Road, far from it.

    And the signing of the lad from Lorient? Excuse me if I'm not so excited, and I suspect if the other lad from Arsenal comes in (not signed by the way, not yet anyway) he will go into the U23s "for a while", again, less than scintillating news.
