skys it over the bar or puts it wide you can then have a go at him. Not at fault IMO it was a good save.
Which way do you think he should go next time if he takes a penalty again?

Bit harsh, mista. He’s only missed one hasn’t he? Even the best of players have been known to miss the odd penalty.
Always surprised that the so called set piece experts don’t step up for more penalties...i.e. Lawrence and Dowell.

Maybe Waghorn is one of the few with the bottle to actually take a penalty. Disagree with Swale about there being little pressure...of course there is pressure...okay it’s worse in a major match or a penalty shoot out but a penalty situation in front of 27,000 spectators to give your side a crucial lead equals pressure.

Goal scoring is different...tends to be much more instinctive and players don’t get castigated for a poor corner or a wasted free kick...but miss a penalty and, as this site is rapidly proving, you’re rapidly demonised.

Think we need to get off the guy’s back and stop bickering amongst ourselves (not you) quite honestly. Friendlier on the Brexit thread than it has been on here for a couple of days.

RA don't go over the top nobody's demonizing him Yes he's scored penalties but unlike some players where you get the feeling he's not going to miss (ie Martin) I always have the feeling Waghorn will miss because his penalties are not good . Just a personal thing if I was in a position to pick who takes the penalties he wouldn't be in the first three Maybe nobody else has the bottle to take them

You may not be but there’s plenty, not necessarily on here, who are laying the blame squarely at Waghorn’s door.
There are still some who haven’t ‘forgiven’ Keogh from five years ago...God only knows what they’d do if he missed a pen.
