No return to the Millers squad for the new season for Carlton, he's just signed a year-long loan to Shrewsbury Town.
Tom Adeyemi signed for Ipsswich Town a few days ago
Carlton has finished his loan spell with the Millers. Seems like a nice lad and a good professional, but still looks nowhere near being fully fit, and no goals scored during his time with RUFC. Our manager Paul Warne seems keen on him though, so may try to renew the loan next season... not sure that many Millers fans will be as enthusiastic
We've also had Tom Adeyemi on loan from Cardiff for several months... good player by our standards, but again rather injury prone, rarely lasts the full 90 minutes on the pitch

UPDATE...
Carlton Morris scored the goal that took Shrewsbury through to the Checkatrade Cup final and a visit to Wembley.... Tom Adeyemi's injury problems continue and he's only mananged a handful of games for Ipswich Town this season
22/05/19 - Carlton Morris starts new loan at Rotherham Utd. Lack of goals in previous loan spell and bad injury record are worrying for some Millers fans. Good luck to him though.

Although he has looked a bit "rusty" in our other Millers pre-season friendlies, he played quite well against Leicester C. yesterday, and scored a good goal
Made his "Second loan spell debut" for the Millers today. He came on as sub fairly late in the game and looked a bit more mobile. Unlikely to be fit enough to play 90 minutes yet though.
FT : AFC Wimbledon 1 Millers 2
He started yesterday in the Millers League Cup game at Shrewsbury... but his bad luck with injuries continues, and he had to be substituted early in the game following a clash of heads.
FT : Shrewsbury 0 Millers 4
Started yesterday v Donny away. Didn't score as Millers lost 1-2. Doesn't sound like he is anywhere near being fully fit yet.
