Yes it’s a mess but do you really think by docking points it helps, yes they must be punished in some way but this must put any buyer off knowing you could be relegated.Relegation affects season ticket sales which does not help clubs getting back on their feet it also hurts the fans knowing that they could be struggling for a few seasons.

Happy times has a young lad going to Bury with my dad,3-15pm kick off result sheet when you came out of the ground for a couple of pence.Remember Alan Kirkman going over the wall head first with a 3ft drop.

Why wouldn’t it help bu docking points? The buyer will know what a mess it’s been/is like TS who wasn’t put off

What do you think would be a suitable punishment?

EFL have got to have a deterrent or you’ll find the leagues in a more mess than what they are now.

Might be an idea to start docking points when the club defaults on payments to the HMRC.

    Pro rata on amount owed

Well something needs to be sorted, I honestly don’t think EFL did Bolton any favours in letting them just carry on like they have tbh it can’t have helped at all just carrying on and getting in more debt surely and it won’t have helped staff and players mentally will it which EFL bang on about

The Chairman will have gone so he’s not getting penalised, the clubs & fans suffer not the out going chairman.I think Grist could be right.Fine the chairman.

Quite - it must be agony for the fans as the takeover is now off so really does look like curtains for Bury - what a great shame
