It was not the whole truth. However you seem to have a facination with it.

I think I said UK trade with the EU switching to WTO term would not effect as we did not import from the EU - this was in reference to the bulk of our imports. To add to that we import and exports small amounts within the EU. It gives me a great insight into how trade works within the single market and importing under wto terms from outside the EU.

Did you listen to the podcaste with Pringle. Very good and worth listening. Lived his time at Rotherham.

You idiot,no deal off the table by the lunatic champagne socialists means we have no negotiating tool at the table. These people are killing future opportunities for my kids .They are a disgrace for looking after teir own interests.Brussels and the London bubble are loving it while the rest of the country despairs.

I dont import from any EU countries. Not sure if that knowledge will make any difference to your comment.

Only a few days ago a thread on here was concerned with knowing who you are dealing with [no personal details] Helps to understand what makes a poster tick so to speak

So it was a fib then?
I think you make things up to suit your argument at the time
Why else state that you don't import from EU countries when in fact you do?

Thought you'd be frantically trying to find a post.

We've imported a small amount from the EU as stated. I've not brought anything in from the EU for some time. So no I dont import from the EU.

Have I imported from the EU - yes.
Do I export small amounts to the EU - yes.
Do I import under WTO terms - yes.

In that I have imported / exported to these place do I know the regs. Yes.

Just seen that Labour now don’t want a general election.

Wise move for once on their part, avoiding a drubbing in the polls.

Labour will go with a GE as soon as the law is passed preventing No Deal. They know the trap Cummings has laid. Not that it's hard to miss :-)

Not sure that the drubbing will happen:

Younger voters are flocking to register to vote and they ain't on your side. I would agree that Corbyn has too much baggage to be considered an asset in the election, especially with Abbot behind him (respect both of them enormously but don't think they are election assets after the last 2 years although I may be proved wrong) but I think that as long as the anti-no deal parties unite in where they stand MPs in key marginals, and allow the Brexit Party to split the conservative vote they have a good chance. The surge in young voter numbers and the upsurgence in their political interest on this and global issues is great for Labour (and Greens).
