He contradicts himself in the piece. You need to listen to it properly.

He says there will be no changes at all to our trading arrangement. Yet in the very same phone in says there will be 150 new customs stations away from the port to deal with the extra work on the UK side.

There is no mention of what happens on the French side coming here.

If there ars no changes what so ever, why do we need 150 new customs stations? I'll answer that. Because there will be huge changes.

You have got to be the most dim witted person on the planet with the remarks above by saying he contradicts himself when in reality he does no such thing. You say that we should listen to it properly but fail to listen to it properly yourself.

I have come to the conclusion that you really do think you are smarter than you actually are and that digging ever deeper holes to fall in is something you are totally oblivious to.

I've only just seen this and I'll try and give a more polite response than some have done.
These are pop up customs stations acting as a back up contingency plan in case there are any issues. Hopefully there won't be but not every driver / importer will be as confident as others so they will be there to reassure people and provide assistance during the transition.
Hopefully all they will be doing is answering simple questions.
Good planning by the government and a routine part of any emergency preparedness plans than everyone would undertake in these circumstances.

According to Raab this morning it appears as though the legal challenge has been hastily (translated as poorly) drafted and it appears as though the govt will press ahead with exiting without a deal if necessary. He says they can legally comply with the legal parts if the legislation as it's so badly worded.

I can't wait to see Corbyn and the Liberal Undemocrats faces when that happens.

He also stated that this is for outbound traffic after drop off of goods and with the extra goods coming in from countries we do not trade with right now and that it is the sensible thing to do. For me this is just good planning and the popups will only be used as and when needed.
