Johnson et al are full of ****e. They have no master plan to get out of asking for the extension and they're not even close to getting a deal.

An extension is nailed on and it'll be a long bugger this time. As in a couple of years.

I'm now more interested in the Arcuri caper. Things are starting to look very bleak for him indeed on that front.

....and worse than that, he nearly drank his coffee out of a disposable cup.

It’s going to have to be a war, I wonder who they’ll pick on.

The Arcuri caper seems to stink to high heaven.

Problem is, in the current populist climate, de Pleffel seems to be bullet proof.

And I have to think there's a bigger plan.

Maybe I'm just getting blinded and it really is all just smoke and mirrors, but Cummings lurking in the shadows makes me think there has to be a sneaky one someplace.

He might go down the Trump road and opt for "civil".

I don’t think he’s half as clever as he thinks he is. Just like the last few that had the job before him

Pieces are all falling into shape now though. Evidence is mounting.

The thing is he would already of had a long sit down with his team and discussed any skeletons in the closet that would no doubt be brought up at some point. That means they expect it and know how to deal with it. Wouldn't be surprised if it was his team that kicked this Arcuri thing off. Small price to pay to have the heat taken off other goings on.

Or maybe I'm just being a bit too paranoid here.

Not only does Boris seem to be on his best behaviour in the commons today he is picking up others for their 'disappointing tone'.

A man that knows he is flogging his dead horse of a revised deal or just another character change dictated to him by Cummings?
