Good overall performance against a good side.
Iversen. What he had to do he did tidily and no fuss.
Olosunde. Next Gerry Forest? I hope he'll be better, he has one of Forest's faults of going to ground to often. I think he's an unpolished gem, got caught out a couple of times in second half, when he gets his defending right he'll be worth loads.
Mattock. Back to his best, good link work with Hastie and a wonderful cross in second half that deserved a goal.
Ihekwa. Another good display, need to tie him to the club.
Wood. I prefer Robertson but suggested that Wood came back in after last week. He didn't put a foot wrong.
Lindsey. Man of match for me got stuck in and used the ball well.
Barlaser. Wanted to give him another chance after seeing his skills in pre-season, didn't take it. If he doesn't show it again I'd send him back at Christmas.
Wiles. A wonderful game although not a winger was more effective than any of the 4 we let go.
Hastie. Back to the lad we saw at Donny, caused loads of problems against what I thought was a good full back. May perhaps have scored from at least one of the couple of shots he had.
Crooks. Back to his best looked better in the advanced position and took the header well for the first goal. Still giving ball away though at times.
Smith. Welcome back Smudge we've missed you. Dominant performance pulling the defence apart, winning the challenges and 2 sweetly taken penalties.
It may seem strange to say when we had 2 pens and they had a man sent off but the ref was atrocious. He gave us the very least he could and what he booked Olosunde for I'll never know.
Overall very happy bunny, got to doff my cap again to Mr Warne he set the team up right even though I thought he'd gone mad when I saw it.
