    Those were quality goals.

I just hope we don’t rest on our laurels in January and that we add a couple of quality players including another striker.

I’d cut losses in Zohorre and bin him at the first opportunity.

One player I’d make a strong bid for in January is young Jude Bellingham of Blues.

He may only be 16 but he ran the show against against Middlesbrough in midfield although he can play further up the pitch.

His dad is a Stourbridge FC and non league legend ( Mark Bellingham) who scored over 700 goals in non league.

This lad will play for England within four years and will be with a top four Premier side.

We missed out on Redmond and Demari Gray when we could have stolen them from Blues.

It’d be just plain silly not to go for this lad.

    You heard it here first.

    Recruitment please note.....

    That’s JUDE BELLINGHAM!

I was only thinking the same the other date, get rid asap and just take the hit. How many of these types of players have we had, only to realise later it never ends well.

I agree too many!! Thought Austin put in a good shift today and can see him coming good!

We look quite a side and undoubtedly the return of Hegazi will assist in securing clean sheets.
What a tremendous crowd response to Charlie’s goal. He has won the support of the fans and is much the better than Kanu and Zahore.
Clearly Pereira was MOTM and I also like to see the Croatian come on as a sub to replace weary legs.
Johnno had a decent game again, with sadly some poor marking evident with the Cardiff goals.
Great to leave the game happy!

I don't want to sound negative and I know that many of you will say that I am but this was a game that we should have won 4-0 and not 4-2. Cardiff were not in the same class as us and we were in command from start to finish. Our passing game was excellent and we created many chances but we must stop giving away sloppy goals. When it got to 3-2 I admit that I was worried. Fortunately Sawyers' goal put my mind at rest but it doesn't alter the fact that we do make life difficult for ourselves.

Indeed Leics buddy. I calm myself confident that the return of Hegazi for (Bartley) will tighten up our defence. To be fair he made some good headers, but positionally and marking he is poor. Seems to follow the ball if you know what I mean.

I think Bartley is improving to be fair and imo thought he had a decent game especially against Leeds. He is prone to errors but so is Hegazi. The one thing with Bartley for me, all the really good players seem composed when under pressure to distribute the ball, they look comfortable. Bartley never does but then I guess he’d be in the Premier League if he was.

It will be interesting to see what Bilic does when Hegazi is available after the international break. There is some talk of moving Ajaye into a defensive midfield role but I think that we are OK there with Livermore and Sawyers. I agree that Bartley has performed much better this season but I think that Hegazi would add a presence and solidity to our back four and therefore I would play Hegazi at the back.

Bartley is not the only one that makes mistakes If you look at both goals yesterday Ajayi is at fault, i'm also a little bit worried that we are letting Hegazi play for Egypt over the international break surly it would be better for the club to be managing the final stages of his comeback rather than let him go away again.

I thought the same regarding Hegazi s’n’s buddy. Strange. I wonder does the club have the final say regarding international call up ? Presumably covered within their player contract.
Regarding Bartley, I’m pleased with his improvement this season, particularly strong defensive headers. Unfortunately, his ball skills are poor, and his constant short pass forward to a midfield player, who as a result is immediately under pressure, is unnecessary. To follow it up with pointing and ‘why’ one hand gestures, is disappointing. I would rather he clears the ball up the wing.
Having said that, he did indeed follow that suggestion a few times. So happy to give credit when due.
Undoubtedly Hegazi is a better option.
