I’m not saying that the rich handicap the poor directly, it’s just that the system is set up that way. So a Tory government favour businesses and the rich through incentivising them to employ people. But they don’t recognise that only a little of that investment makes its way down to where it’s supposed to go. Thus taxpayers’ money sticks in the hands of those who already have the most. The grease doesn’t get to the squeak. It’s similar under a Labour Government too. Too many people take advantage of undeserved benefits, too many failed initiatives to help those seen as disadvantaged and......the investment doesn’t go where it’s supposed to go.
