    He should have gone into boxing instead of football, he's actually better at punching people than he was a footballer, and he night have had some sense knocked into him as well.

    Wouldn’t work, he’s good at punching those that aren’t looking or expecting the attack.

    A boxing opponent would be ready, so there wouldn’t be a cowardly attack. Also the scenario of Barton having his mates with him in the ring isn’t allowed.

    Be interesting to see if Stendel's employers at the time of the (alleged) incident help with his costs. If he was still manager then no doubt they would, but now .................. ?

    The state - in the form of the CPS - will meet the costs of the prosecution. Stendel won't have to pay a penny.

    Probably deny seeing anything more like and retract their stories just to throw him under a bus .

    Getting really nasty between the club and Stendel with lawyers involved according to what we hear .
