The priority will be attempting to secure the investment required for the new stadium . They will have their work cut out there. A lot of people jumping the gun saying that this will mean Mcinnes out. Have they forgotten Cormack has been on the board for at least one of his contract extensions.

Like it or not and rightly or wrongly McInnes will be going nowhere soon unless by his own choosing of course.

Depends on what Cormack and his American chums want.

If they want to make money by getting to the group stages of the Europa League then they will have to bring in better players than we have.

I can’t see them wanting to build a new stadium and it’s going to be half empty all of the time, they will have to do something pretty special to fill the stadium every game.

They keep going on about how well Atlanta United have done but they haven’t just done it with a shiny new stadium and training ground.

They have spent a fair amount of money on players too.

Unfortunately the new stadium argument has been done to death. pittodrie isn't fit for purpose and I'm prepared to.accept it can't be redeveloped.

If the club is to be marketed to the yanks for investment I would suggest a fit for purpose stadium is pretty high up on their wish list. There is a lot of talk about this Europa B league. An in the know hibs supporter has been told that's one of the reasons their new owner got involved. Oh and they just happen to have an excellent UEFA compliant stadium and training facility.

Sooo I'm not suggesting investment is not required in the team to improve their performances, particularly in Europe. I think the yanks will see success in a European league as more attainable / marketable than throwing money we don't have at a probably fruitless attempt to break the duopoly in Scotland.

I just think that the stadium will be the main priority for the short term.
I'm really hoping I'm proved wrong.

The new stadium will never be full every week.
Aberdeen don’t have, & never have had 20,000 fans turning up for every home game
    Even in the 80’s.

    Thats utter p1sh.

Are you on Milnes/Cormacks PR team?

Hibs have managed to stay at their Home ground and develop it.

I am pretty sure you know where i am going with this and our utter clunt of an ex Chairman has run Pittodrie into the ground.....to whose benefit it will remain to be seen.

    Success in a European League...

I know that and you know that but Cormack seems pretty convinced we can do what Atlanta United have done,as in build up a fan base that will fill the stadium every week.

I can’t see us ever doing that in the Scottish League, even if we were challenging for the title.

    Correct.
    We won’t.
We didn’t do that when we were conquering Europe, let alone putting the Dhims & the scum to bed.
So we ain’t doing it in 2022/23 or whenever

    The issues about redeveloping Pittodrie, as I understand it, are;

    - Cormack cited the cost Hearts have incurred for one stand. Is it £18m & rising?
    - he suggested we’d make £3m-£5m more from corporate stuff at Kingsford. I’ve no idea if that’s pie in the sky, or figures plucked from his rear end.
    - he also suggested the American investment wouldn’t have been forthcoming if they tried to redevelop Pittodrie.

No manager is going to turn us into a team challenging for the title on the current budget.
I will be glad to see the back of Milne and his poor attitude to competing. Hopefully we have a budget and a new manager that has the belief, balls and desire to be a winner. Pittodrie under Milne was filled with negativity as we plodded along....hopefully Cormack and the American investors shake the place up and mean business. Aberdeen needs positivity...the club has been sleeping for years.
