    Just had a thought.

The eve of the election and Jeremy Corbyn whips out his Lightsabre and says “ Boris, I am your father”
    Is lightsabre a euphemism grist?

I don't think it possible to say what will happen with any certainty. The Brexit issue will have some 'natural' Tories and Labour supporters voting LibDem or Brexit Party. That turns the 'normal' modelling on its head and renders national opinion polls even less reliable than usual.

After the 2017 debacle the Tories have made their manifesto super cautious. That may yet prove to be a mistake as it allows Labour to make all the media noise with their massive tax/borrow/spend promises and NHS scare stories.

Yes Kerr, still unpredictable but the mood round us in Labour North isn't good.
On a sad note a 70yr bloke that was campaigning on the doorstep in Hellaby Rotherham had his jaw broken and bile and anger on Twitter goes too far. A country split down the middle.

Good tweet from Jess Phillips 're anti-semitism the other day. The right approach imo.

Even the biased BBC have said, after looking through these Corbyn documents, there is no evidence to suggest that the govt. have any intention of "selling" the NHS.The desperate remainiacs are trying every devious trick to try to stop the will of the people.Student fees to be abolished like they said in the last election but after the result admitted they could not deliver.A total lie to try and entice more votes. Also ,we were told that the decision to leave would not be ignored and honoured.Another lie!!!! People do not believe these empty promises.

Democracy doesn't exist in the UK any longer Bill.
George Osborne and other senior Tories advised Cameron not to hand out a Referendum.
Not a chance of getting it through Parliament, not to suit everyone. A good deal to someone may be different to another. Labour and Conservatives toe the party line or have the whip removed.
I get where people are coming from but it was never going to happen with no majority.

The option to leave with no deal is still available if Conservatives gain a big enough majority.

One of the BBC news programmes had a 'vox pop' from Maltby a few days ago in which a number of people said they intended to vote Tory. I wouldn't have believed it if I hadn't seen it. Meanwhile, I live in a safe Tory seat, but everyone in the circles in which I move who has expressed an opinion has said they will vote Lib Dem. That includes a person who says that she has never voted other than Tory.

I really don't know what is going to happen.

Didn't see the Philips tweet, I will look it up.

The Jess Phillips tweet is from a few days ago.
People seem to forget or disregard the fact that life long Tory voters and people from Tory Remain areas are still pro EU and yes your probably right some of them may vote LibDem.
I don't know what's going to happen either.

Ah good to see you back to your usual self Kerr after your illness; moderate statement first then your inevitable end piece on Labour
    You're nothing if not predictable
