Cayton, out of that lot, only Wood, Robertson, Ihekwe and Thompson are Centre Halves, the others are left or right backs. Looking at it from that perspective, Wood will retire at the end of the season leaving us with only three C/H's. Deplete that further through injury or suspension and you're in trouble. Injury seems to be our main threat this season so, we need a new hungry Centre Half come January.

I don't think Icky is a centre half even though Warne plays him there

To me he's like Ajayi, better suited as a defensive midfielder playing just in front of the back four.

I find myself agreeing with you Grist.

I think Icky will become a better player than Ajayi. Already his ball control and distribution have improved no end this season.

Must be that defensive coach you ordered.

Yes I'd agree. He's very mobile and can do the sweeper role that Semi did

I kinda agree sometimes. Upto this season he has mainly played alongside wood. Woody does the dirty stuff whilst Ike mops up.. Ike n Robertson are very similar players. They both need a woody type player to look there best..
Na. For me he's a CB who could occasionally play holding midfield

Isn't Cooper the player your talking about. ??

Inc cooper that's 5CB. I don't remember us having any more than that amount over the past few/10 years
