That's not a political point, it's based on what I've seen; regular, repeat treatment/care of a loved one which started about 10 years ago. This is one hospital in South Yorkshire, if the sort of stuff I've seen is endemic within the NHS as a whole then there's no avoiding being emotive when "looking at it"
    Agree with thay Redshank
We need people who speak with emotion We are becoming devoid of it

It's one but not the only reason I don't vote Tory.
Brexit doesn't bother me, they can walk away without a deal as far as I'm concerned.

Despite Jack Merrits father telling politicians not to make political gain from his death some of them couldn't wait to do so.
We were discussing the media weren't we
I too have family experience of so called "care" homes Not fit for purpose is right

    You're missing my point Exile.
Take no notice of the media, use your own personal experiences and make your own mind up.
Over the past 40 years the Tories have done very little for me or my family. Everything I've got I've earned.
My wife and I are due a pension rise......yippee..after extra tax, increase of Council Tax, higher water rates, electricity, gas, increased house insurance etc, etc..we won't be any better off.

Anyone that's done okay with the Tories are hardly likely to be rushing to vote Labour.

A veteran what exactly? Steam engine? Not quite sure what you are if you are not a Tory, given the other stuff you have written (I dread to think really!)
Are you implying that the army did a thorough job of brain-washing you? As Spike Milligan said "We've got the enemy fooled, Sir. They think that we're the enemy!"

    I'm voting Labour

Little bit fanciful there with the Yorkshire Post being part of the MM?!

    The Star left wing?! Lol

The Observer is part of the Guardian

    You've missed the Telgraph

    So I make it:

    Left wing:
    Mirror

    Centre Left
    Guardian
    Independent

    Centre Right
    The Times
    Sunday Times
    Financial Times

    Right Wing
    Express
    Mail
    The Sun
    The Telegraph

I'm still getting loads of lefties moaning about the Beeb being pro-Tory with just the same indigence shown by right wing in here. They cancel each other out for me.

The bigger problem for Labour is the popular right wing papers (Sun, Mail and Express) have a comparatively huge readership, especially of their websites, and all three are repeatedly proven to falsify information to further their political views. The Mirror does the same on the left, but their reach is tiny compared to the right wing fibbers, the propaganda wing of the conservative party. That's the real problem: millions are getting very biased, slanted news stories that support the Conservative cause.

Unlike you or I what if you haven't got the benefit of these personal experiences
Such people & there are millions will I'm afraid be influenced by the media
Isn't this how the Royal Family would seem to be popular & supported by the majority of the Nation .I don't think the majority do support them

Most people have personal experiences, even the younger generation
People should take notice of Nigel Farage when he keeps saying the deal BJ has negotiated isn't Brexit at all.
Michel Barnier has stuck his nose in now, it's not going to be a happy ending for some.
There's going to be more compromises than some people think.

Ok Frank let me put this to you
How do people form an opinion on the Royal Family
No experience at all old or yong but we are fed a constant pro Royal narrative
Never underestimate the power of the news media
